Kenneth W. Donie ( SGM Ret. ) , of Raeford, North Carolina, died in his home on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the age of 60. Mr. Donie was born in Onslow County, NC. on July 25, 1956. He graduated from Boardman High School in 1974. He proudly served in the United States Army and was assigned to the 7th Group Special Forces. He is survived by his Wife Tam Vu Donie of Raeford; his sons, Vu Donie of High Pont, Dung Donie of Durham; His father George Donie and his sister, Sue Donie( Denis ) Griffin all of Youngstown, Ohio; and many friends. Calling hours were held Thursday December 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. and a Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sand Hills State Veteran Cemetery in Fayettville, North Carolina, with Full Military Honors.
