LaVerne D. DiPillo,74, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 12th, 2017, at Hospice of the Valley.

LaVerne was born December 19th, 1942. She was the daughter of Earl and Mary (Skolnik) Putko of Campbell. She was the assissant manager for Simco Property for 18 years. Her joys in life were dogs, gaming, baking, bowling and politics. She was a Blue Ribbon winner several times at the Canfield Fair. She was also very active in her children's school functions and organizing neighborhood gatherings.

She leaves her husband of 54 years, Ronald L. DiPillo; her son Dr. Ronald "Chez" (Karen) DiPillo of Nokomis, Florida and a daughter Lisa ( George) Mesaros of Youngstown, Ohio. She leaves four grandchildren, Callie and Karenna DiPillo and Derian and Kaitlynn Mesaros. She also leaves her sister Dolores Mastrantonio of Campbell and many neices and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother Richard Putko.

LaVerne's family ask you to join them on Tuesday, January 17th at St. Christine's Parish Center from 5 to 9 p.m. to celebrate the life of LaVerne.
