Obituary

Lawrence Lanterman, 66 WINTER PARK, FLA. - Lawrence "Larry" Lanterman, 66, formerly of Youngstown, was born Sept. 12, 1945, in Youngstown, a son of Paul and Virginia Lanterman. Larry proudly served as a U.S.A.F. Para-Rescueman and dedicated 35 years to Progress Energy before retiring. He was a Winter Garden resident since 1971. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Alice "Honey" Adamson Lanterman; son Joshua "Sport Model" (Amy) Lanterman; daughter Rebecca "Tince" Lanterman (Dominic) Gaudious; and the two lights of his life, his granddaughter, Skye "Skye Baby" Lanterman and his grandson, Dominic "The Nickster" Gaudious. He is also survived by a sister, Sue (Rick) Stiles of Youngstown; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth Ann and Earl Adamson; his "Adopted" family, Tim, Amanda, godchildren M and Em Warren; and numerous brothers and sisters in Christ, neighbors, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry succumbed to an autoimmune lung disease and fought valiantly for 21 days with the nurturing and loving care by the staff at Florida Hospital South. Jesus took him by the right hand and led him to heaven (Psalm 73:23) on the Lord's Day April 22. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Christian Life Church, 1601 South Raccoon Road. Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
