Obituary

Leonard T. Layshock, 83 CANFIELD-- Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday at St. Maron Church, Youngstown, for Leonard T. Layshock, 83, who died Friday afternoon after a prolonged illness at the Hospice House. Leonard was born December 14, 1924, in Youngstown, a son of Michael & Mary Strichko Layshock. He was a Chaney High Graduate and attended Kent State University. Leonard worked in construction and served his country in the Army for 11 years during WW II and Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 52 years the former Margaret Essad, the owner of Margie's Golden Needle; a brother Michael Layshock of Maryland; and a sister, Francis Bush of Niles. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruth Sackmar. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the church. Leonard's family requests any material tributes to go the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd, Poland 44514 or to St. Maron Church, 1555 South Meridian Rd., 44511.in his memory. Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
