Leonard D. Tamburro, 82 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 Monday at St. Dominic Church, Youngstown, for Leonard D. Tamburro, 82 of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully Wednesday morning. Leonard was born January 18, 1934 in Youngstown, a son of Leonard and Nancy Gentile Tamburro. He attended South High School, and worked at Republic Steel and U.S. Steel. Leonard was a member of St. Dominic Church, and enjoyed fishing ,working in his yard and watching grandsons playing baseball. Leonard served in the Army 3rd Armored Division. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Antoinette M. Mosca, who he married April 12, 1958, a daughter Lenore (Frank) Larubbio of Poland, two sons Leonard Tamburro of Crete, Ill., and Sam Tamburro of Washington, D.C., two brothers Donald Tamburro of Texas, and Robert Tamburro of Boardman, a sister Lenore White of Poland and two grandchildren Frankie and Vinny Larubbio and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Leonard is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Lori Tamburro and his sister Mabel Tamburro and brother -in-law John Mosca .
