Lois Rachel Sparks Beatty, 63. YOUNGSTOWN--Funeral Services will be 12 noon Wednesday at the Faith Community Church in Youngstown for Lois Rachel Sparks Beatty who died peacefully Saturday morning at Hospice House. Lois was born October 2, 1944 in Clarksville, W.Va., a daughter of James & Belle Wright Sparks. She was a 1962 graduate of North High School and the Lewis Weinberger & Hill Beauty School. Lois was a beautician. She enjoyed helping others and bowling in the L & M Bowling League. Lois was a member of the church , taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and volunteered many hours at the Food Pantry at the church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband George L. Beatty , whom she married October 16, 1965; a son, George L. (Therese) Beatty II of Boardman; two daughters, Robin L. (Ernie) Reiner of Youngstown and Paula B. (David) Johnston of New Waterford, Ohio; six grandchildren, Denise Beatty, Kristin Beatty, George Beatty, III, Kerstain Reiner, Eric Reiner and Ryan Reiner; and several nieces & nephews. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Barbara Ann Beatty, and two sisters, Sandra Cascarelli and Carolyn Wade. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home , Boardman and 11 to 12 Noon Wednesday at the church.
