Louise A. Buchman, 78 BOARDMAN - Louise A. Buchman, 78 years young, died peacefully on July 2, surrendered by her loving family. Louise was born May 31, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Chester and Theresa Briganti Torello. Louise was a loving and protective mother, faithful wife, proud grandparent, new great-grandmother, concerned big sister, special aunt and loyal friend. During her worldly life, she was an active member of many organizations. She enjoyed being part of card clubs, garden clubs and political clubs. She served as Treasurer of the Western Reserve Republican Womens Club for several years, an organization in which she was an active member for over 40 years. In 2002, she was honored as Mahoning County Republican Women of the Year. She was also active with the Board of Elections and once held the position of Precinct Committee woman. In healthier years, she was a very active member of the Youngstown Saxon Club, where she enjoyed playing bocce, helping in the kitchen and serving on many committees, since 1975. Louise served as Treasurer and Trustee of the Saxon Ladies Branch 22 for eight years. In 1998 she was selected as the Branch 22 Mother Of The Year and 2003 she was selected as the clubs Women of the Year. Louise is survived by her husband of 57 years, James; her daughters, Alexia (P.J.) Kreuzwieser of North Canton and Elise (Jim) Wallace of Clinton; and her sister, Joanne Shutrump. In addition to these family members, she leaves in mourning, her grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan and Jay Wallace and Clare Kreuzwieser; new great-grand daughter, Cora Lynn Wallace; and beloved nieces, cousins and many caring friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Dominic Church. Material tributes can be made in LouiseA
