Prayers will be 9:30 Monday, February 27 at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Dominic Church, Youngstown, celebrated by Rev. Vincent DeLucia for Louise Marchionda, 66, of Boardman, who passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. Louise was born January 26, 1951 in Youngstown, a daughter of Attilio and Eufrasietta Pompeo Marchionda. She was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and also Youngstown State University. Louise worked as a registered dietician in the St. Elizabeth Cardiology Department, and later as the dietician at Dandridge Nursing Home in Youngstown for over ten years. A member of St. Dominic Church, Louise enjoyed cooking and baking when she was not working. Louise leaves to cherish her memory her mother Eufrasietta Marchionda. She is preceded in death by her father Attilio, who passed away in 1986. Friends may call from 2 to 4 Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. She will be buried in Pacentro, Italy.
