Luana Marie Jarvis, 87 YOUNGSTOWN--Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. in Saint Christine Church for Luana "Lu" Jarvis who ascended to heaven on Friday, February 8th at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital. . Luana was born on July 31, 1920 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of Catherine Clark Weaver and Earl Weaver. She worked through the years at Liberty Manufacturing, Photogenic, Altronics, and O'Connor's Sales and Service on Market Street. She was a member of St. Christine Church. Lu's legacy will continue through her best friend and soul mate of more than 30 years Donald J. O'Connor. Her kindness and strength continues on through her daughter Lonnie Jarvis Lohfeld and her husband Robert Lohfeld of Annapolis, Maryland, her 2 grandchildren Robert Lohfeld Jr and his Wife Kristin Lohfeld of Woodbridge, VA, and Amy Luana Secrist and her husband Steven Secrist of Leesburg, Va. She was blessed with three great grandchildren Caitlin O'Connor Lohfeld, Alexis Catherine Lohfeld, and Courtney Marie Secrist whose joy is a testimony to her life. She leaves her loving siblings Jack Weaver of Canfield, sisters Marjorie Hutcheson of Boardman, and Kathleen Brownlie of Youngstown. Lu's ascension was preceded by her husband Thomas Jarvis, brother Earl "Bud" Weaver, and sister Delores Marmagin. Her spirit and love are everlasting. Those of us who were privileged and blessed to share in the joys of her life will carry living memories with us every day. She will remain in our hearts forever.
