Lucille L. Young, 96 NEW MIDDLETOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown, celebrated by the Rev. Edward P. Noga, for Lucille L. Young, 96, who passed away Saturday at Masternick Memorial Nursing Home in New Middletown. Lucille was born on April 22, 1919 in Youngstown, daughter of Dominic and Philomena DiGammo Lucarell. She was a lifelong area resident and graduated in 1937 from The Rayen School. She worked at Kresge five and dime store before she was married and was a house wife. She also worked at Barth Farms later in the 70s. Lucille was also a member of St. Dominic Church. Lucille leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Georgia (John) Turco of Struthers; her grandchildren, Sharon (Alex) Coolidge of Cincinnati and Michael (Sherrilynn) Turco of Howland; and a great-grandson, John Coolidge of Cincinnati. Besides her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Young, whom she married Sept. 9, 1940, and whom passed away on Sept. 25, 1995. She also was preceded by her sisters, Victoria White and Marie Young; and brothers Phillip , Anthony, Angelo, James, Rocco and William Lucarell. Friends may call Tuesday from 9 to 9:50 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
