Lydia S. Farcas, 66 AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, officiated by Pastor John Musgrave for Lydia S. Farcas, 66, who passed away peacefully Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Lydia was born May 22, 1949, in Paxton, Ill., a daughter of Ivan and Maxine Irvin Murray. She was a 1967 graduate of Girard High School and a former member of the Girard First Assembly Church. Lydia was a caregiver for many area families. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Cornelius P. Farcas, whom she married June 16, 1979; two daughters, Renee (Dominic) Perry and Heidi (Larry) Balben; a son, Timothy Farcas; two sisters, Becky Gilbert and Cara Dunlap; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lydia was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Danielle; two brothers, Larry Combest and Jimmy Murray; and a sister, Iris Murray.
