Canfield-Margaret M. Flint, 89 There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated by Rev. Terrence Hazel at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Church for Margaret M. Flint age 89 who passed away on October 16, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Niles, Ohio on April 5, 1923. She was preceded in death by her father John Filbert and mother Louise Fifer Filbert; sisters Eleanor Joyce, Beatrice Dysart, Louise O'Hara Syron, Leona Brown, Irene Riley, Gertrude Filbert, Dorothy Filbert and brothers Martin and Joseph Filbert and grandson Wally Minzner. She will be sadly missed by her husband, John E. Flint Sr. whom she married on March 8, 1943 in Madison, Wisconsin. She leaves a daughter Patricia L. Minzner of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and sons John E. Flint, Jr. (Karen) of Clearwater, Florida and Randall M. Flint of Alliance. She also leaves grandchildren Jon Minzner of Independence, KY, Margaret Minzner of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jay and Scott Flint of Clearwater, FL, Carly and Molly Flint of Alliance, and 3 great grandchildren Greta Kozarek, Kate and Ian Minzner. Mrs. Flint was a graduate of South High School and was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone and Youngstown State University. She was a charter member of St. Christine Parish and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Infant Jesus of Prague and a homebound minister. She enjoyed playing golf, card clubs, quilting and spending time with her family. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Fox Funeral Home.
