CANFIELD- Margaret Mary George,91 There will be a Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian, Rd., Youngstown, with Chorbishop Michael Kail and Deacon William George officiating for Margaret Mary George,91, of Canfield, who passed away on Friday afternoon at Forum Health North Side Medical Center. Margaret was born April 4, 1924in Youngstown the daughter of John and Bessie (Abbas) Koury and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of East High School with the Class of 1942, and a longtime member of St. Maron Church, and was president of its St. Tobias Society for 50 years. Her childhood sweetheart and husband Francis M. George Sr. whom she married on August 30, 1947 died on January 10, 1983 after 35 years of marriage. She leaves to cherish her memory her five children Jeffry George of Cortland, Daniel (Pam) George of Midland, TX, Marcy (John ) Petruzzi of Boardman , Mary Bess George with whom she made her home in Canfield, Tim (Patty) George of Boardman; a daughter-in-law, Maggie Hagan of Lakewood ; ten grandchildren, Maura, Leah, Michael(Amber), Danny (Sarah), John Guy, Brian, Greg, Estee, Frank, Olivia; two great grandchildren, Gianna and Francis; her sister Julia Simon of Liberty and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Francis George Jr.; three brothers Victor, Joseph and Simon Koury, and five sisters Adele Karam, Elizabeth Hanna, Mary, Victoria, and Lourde Koury.
