Margaret M. McCarthy, 76 BOARDMAN---Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in Saint Christine Church for Margaret M. McCarthy, 76, who died Tuesday evening at Beeghly Oaks. Mrs. McCarthy was born July 16, 1930, in Youngstown, a daughter of Eugene L. and Marie Amann Schneider, Sr. and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of South High School and a member of Saint Christine Church. She retired after many years of service for the Boardman School System. Her husband, Paul McCarthy, whom she married June 11, 1976, died April 20, 1990. She leaves two sons, Donald (Joann) Sylvester of Pasadena, MD and Gregory (Janet) Sylvester of Austintown; a sister, Jeanne Sanko of Boardman; three brothers, Robert Schneider of Canfield, Richard Schneider of North Lima and John Schneider of Boardman; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Stacey Sylvester. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Ross, who died December 15, 2002, two brothers, Eugene Schneider and Joseph Schneider and two sisters, Marianne Uray and Ruth Robinson. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
