Margaret Mary "Peg" McCoy, 93 YOUNGSTOWN-- - Margaret Mary (Peg) McCoy, 93, passed away Tuesday morning at Northside Medical Center with her family at her side. Mrs. McCoy was born November 21, 1915 in Youngstown, a daughter of Christopher and Margaret O'Brien. She was a 1935 graduate of South High School. Margaret was a homemaker and loyal member of the Niles Chapter of the Women of the Moose. She attended St. Dominic's Church and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She served as a presiding judge for the Election Board for many years. She enjoyed her retirement years traveling and playing bingo with her husband Harold, her constant companion. Harold and Peg were married at St. Dominic's and had just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on February 22, 2009. Besides her husband, Margaret leaves her daughter, Janet Rae Yacopi (Al) and her son Terry McCoy (Cindy) and three granddaughters, two great grandchildren, and a brother Edward O'Brien. She was preceded in death by her brother Ray O'Brien, her sister Eileen Whalen and a grandson Christopher Allen McCoy. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday.
