Margaret " Marg " Ricker, 94 BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Peter Del Nagro at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for Margaret " Marg " Ricker, 94, who passed away Saturday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Marg was born April 11, 1920, daughter of Cosmo and Marie Vargo Polite, adopted and reared by her grandparents, Barbara and William Vargo. Marg worked for 22 years at Youngstown Steel Door as a Telephone Operator and retired in 1966. She belonged to the American Business Womens Association and American Bowling League, Western Reserve Lake Association. Marg loved bingo, was her favorite pass time. Marg leaves to cherish her memory, her stepdaughter, Sherran (Dr. Raymond) Scheetz; her grandchildren, Thomas (Dawn) Scheetz, Lori (Todd) Bright, Rebecca ( John ) Meaker, and Christine Fish; nine great-grandchildren; nephews Richard (Nancy), Donald (Patricia), and Michael (Cathy) DiVito; several great-nephews and nieces; and her beloved dog, Molly. Besides her parents and grandparents, Marg was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ricker, whom she married Jan. 22, 1966, he passed away on Nov. 2, 1992. She was also preceded by her only sister, Irene and brother-in-law Gus DiVito. Friends and family may call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Fox Funeral Home .
