Boardman-Margaret "Peg" T. McKinney, 88 Prayers will be offered at 9:30 A.M. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. At St. Charles Church both in Boardman for Margaret "Peg" T. McKinney, 88 of Boardman who passed away Tuesday evening. Peg was born Jan 6, 1921 in Youngstown, a daughter of Matthew & Ann Michalov Matis. She was a member of the first graduating class of Woodrow Wilson in 1939. Before she was married she worked at the YMCA in New York City and the Youngstown Letter shop in Youngstown. She was a member of the church and the Slovak Catholic Union. She enjoyed her children. Her husband Albert B. McKinney whom she married May 27, 1948, died Sept 4, 1982. Peg leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Barbara (Aran) Kongmuang of Canfield and Patricia (Bob) Brace of Austintown, three sons Charles (Debbie) McKinney of California, John (Mary) McKinney of Stow and Robert (Darlene) McKinney of Boardman. A sister Mary Ann (Joseph) Pavalko of Boardman eight grandchildren Denny, David & Kayla Brace, Steven & Karen Kongmuang and Galen, Matthew & Katelyn McKinney and a great grand daughter Caitlin Justine. Besides her parents and husband Peg is preceded in death by five brothers Stephen, Frank, Joseph , Michael & Cyril. Friends may call 5 to 8 Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
