Marian Louise Robek, 88 BOARDMAN - There will be prayers at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home followed by a Resurrection Mass at St. Charles Church at 10 a.m for Marian L. Robek, 88, who passed away Monday morning at Masternick Memorial. Marian was born May 14, 1926 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, a daughter of Marion and Margaret Clark Bailey and moved to the Youngstown area in 1945. Marian worked in the Cafeteria at Boardman High School for over 17 years. Her husband John P. Robek whom she married April 22, 1944 died on December 22, 2003 after 59 years of marriage. She leaves behind two sons, John A. Robek who has been missing since May 30, 1974, Brian (Renee) Robek of Boardman; three daughters, Marian (Frank) Koscak of Boardman, Margaret (Patrick) Burns of North Lima, Carol Ann Bruno of Boardman; a brother, Walter Bailey of Cincinnati; a sister, Juanita Phelps also of Cincinnati; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Marian has been preceded in death by her two sisters, Masie Starrett and Loretta Jordan. Marian's family would like to thank the staff of Masternick Memorial and All Caring Hospice for the loving care they showed to their mother.
