There were private funeral services held for Marian E. "Fitz" Sibson, 88, who passed away Tuesday morning at Austinwood's Nursing Home. Marian was born December 22, 1927 in Youngstown, a daughter of Elmer and Anna White Fitz and spent most of her life in the Youngstown area and for 10 years in the South Bend, Indiana area. She graduated from Ursuline High School with the Class of 1946 and was employed at East Ohio Gas for over 40 years at various departments. She was a long time member of Holy Family Parish, volunteered at the Heart Association and Memorial Hospital in Indiana for 10 years. Her husband Donald Sibson whom she married in 1986 died after 10 years of marriage at which time she moved back to the Youngstown, area. She leaves to cherish her memory, a nephew, Norman (Sharon) Cleland of Columbus; a niece, Pamela (Robert) Robinstahl of Twinsburg; her beloved cousins, Robert W. Pugh of Boardman, Kellie Armstrong of Knoxville, TN, Christine (David) Ohle of Boardman, Robert B. (Jennifer) Pugh of Youngstown and Brad (Mary) Pugh of Boardman. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
