Obituary

BOARDMAN- Marilyn A. Mondora,76 There will be prayers at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home and a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Dominic Church for Marilyn A. Mondora, 76 who passed away Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boardman. Marilyn was born October 13, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Ralph and Adele Maxim Mondora and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School with the Class of 1952 and went to Trumbull Memorial School of Nursing graduating in 1955 as a Registered Nurse. Marilyn retired from her career as an industrial nurse at Republic Steel and then worked part time as a medical file reviewer for the Law firm of Harshman and Gervelis. She was a long time parishioner at St. Dominic Parish, very involved in the Alumni programs at both Wilson High School and Trumbull School of Nursing. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and Cleveland Browns fan, enjoyed traveling, shopping, going out to dinner but mostly spending time with family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Joanne (John) Murphy of Boardman, Adele (George) Economus of Youngstown; fifteen nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and grand nephews. Besides her parents Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Mondora. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 pm. Friday at Fox Funeral Home.
