Mario E. Donnadio, 68 BOARDMAN---Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in Saint Luke Church for Mario E. Donnadio, 68, who died Tuesday at the Cleveland Clinic. Mr. Donnadio was born September 11, 1938 in Potenza, Italy, a son of Antonio and Maria Montesanto Donnadio and came to the United States in 1959. He attended high school in Italy, was a carpenter and owned and operated Eastwood Construction. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #171 and was a deputy sheriff. He enjoyed making concrete statues, enjoyed fishing and refurbishing cars and loved animals. Besides his wife, the former Delores Slagle, whom he married April 1, 1997, he leaves a son Mark (Janet) Donnadio of Poland; a daughter, Sheila Donnadio of Canfield; three stepsons, David Russell of Kittanning, PA, Mark Russell of Campbell and Timothy Russell of New Springfield; two stepdaughters, Annette Romeo of Canfield and Jamie Bartburger of New Castle; five sisters, Margaret Donnadio of Brooklyn, NY, Gina Britta of Cleveland, Elda Quattrucci of Staten Island, NY, Italia Giannotto of Brooklyn, NY and Tonina Derosa of NY; two brothers, Luigi Montesanto of Staten Island, NY and Rocco Montesanto of New York; three grandchildren, Heather Donnadio, Anthony Donnadio and Mark Donnadio; and he loved his dog, Jake. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
