Marjorie Eileen "Marge" Gaiser, 83 POLAND - Funeral Services will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home for Marjorie Eileen "Marge" Gaiser, 83, who passed away Monday evening at home. Marge was born April 9, 1931, in Middlebourne, W.Va., a daughter of Eugene and Lilly Kenney Summers. She graduated from Tyler County High School, Middlebourne, in 1949. Her husband of 42 years, Edward K. Gaiser, whom she married May 9, 1954, passed away Dec. 22, 1996. She worked at Cutrite Sharpening Service, a company founded by her husband in 1972. Prior to that, she was employed in various retail positions with Woolworth, Almart and Montgomery Wards. Mrs. Gaiser was a member of the Trinity Fellowship Church, where she was active in the Burden Bear Ministry, helping to create hundreds of stuffed bears that are donated annually to Hospice of the Valley. An avid animal lover, she volunteered in the creation of stuffed toys for 2nd Chance, a shelter for homeless cats and kittens. Hobbies that she enjoyed included sewing, craft-making, and traveling throughout the United States with her husband, with whom she visited 49 States. Among others, she is survived by two nieces, Mayetta (Don) Ruffier of Alliance, Connie Sinchak of Youngstown; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard R. and Berniece Swisher of Columbus. Throughout her life, Mrs. Gaiser enjoyed loyal canine companions including Brownie, Skippy, Cinder, Susie, Chloe and Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Edward Lee Summers; and two sisters, Wilma Waters and Elizabeth Billiter. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman. Entombment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Austintown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Trinity Fellowship Church, Angels for Animals in Canfield or Animal Charity in Boardman.
