Mary Elizabeth Riley, 82 AUSTINTOWN - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. Edward Noga at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Patrick's Church, Youngstown, for Mary Elizabeth Riley, 82, who passed away Tuesday morning at Hospice House. Mary was born April 8, 1931, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Florence Costello Riley, and had been an area resident for most of her life. She graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Scranton, Pa., with the Class of 1949 and became a Registered Nurse after graduating in 1952 from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years for Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a visiting nurse through-out the country. Mary was a member of St. Patrick's Parish and she enjoyed sports, reading and traveling. Mary will be missed by her brother Thomas "Jerry" Riley of Austintown; her sister-in-law, Lillian Riley of Austintown; her niece, Maureen Riley-Behringer of Aurora, Ohio; and a nephew, John Riley of Allison, Park, Pa. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, John Riley. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home prior to the service at St. Patrick Church.
