Mary "Maggie" Brady Smolkovich, 63 BOARDMAN- Mary "Maggie" Brady Smolkovich, 63, passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at the St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boardman, OH. Maggie was born December 3, 1950, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Michael T. and Marian Brady and was raised on the Northside of Youngstown. She graduated with the Class of 1968 from Ursuline High School. She worked at the Youngstown Welfare department, with the IRS in Cleveland, OH and as a bankruptcy Specialist for the IRS in Nashville, TN. Mary moved to Nashville in 1995, while there she made many friends throughout the music industry. She was a well-known amateur photographer, filming many celebrity events at such venues as The Bluebird CafAC., Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry. Her favorite events were the annual "Vince Gill Charity Golf Outing" and concerts. She returned to Youngstown in 2012. She will be greatly missed by her two sisters Suzanne (Bernie) Fischer of Boardman, Judi Brady of Cleveland and thirteen nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Jolliff and Joyce Brady and her brother Albert Brady. At Mary's request, there will be no calling hours and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
