Mary Adele Stimmer, 75 BOARDMAN -There will be a Resurrection Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30th at St. Charles Church, celebrated by Rev. Gerald DeLucia for Mary A. Stimmer who died on Saturday August 23, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary graduated from Youngstown State University in Elementary Education and taught at St. Charles School until becoming a mother in 1961. She devoted her life to her faith, family and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Throughout her life, she was an active volunteer in her church and her community. Beloved wife of the late Paul R. Stimmer; loving mother of Sandra (David) MacLean and Susan (Scott) Swierad; devoted grandmother of Lindsey, Nicole, Zachary and Rachel; dear sister of Theresa Vuksanovic and Bernadette Kratofil. Besides her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother Donald Kratofil; and sisters Dolores and Barbara Kratofil. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Peg Kratofil and her family for their loving and thoughtful care of Mary during her extended illness.
