Mary Alice Vogelberger, 92 POLAND - There will be funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home celebrated by Pastor Russ Adams for Mary Alice Vogelberger, 92, who passed away Tuesday morning at Hampton Woods. Mary was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Youngstown, a daughter of Russell and Gladys Hawkins Bretz and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Boardman High School, and worked as an office manager at Steel Duct-Saw Hill retiring in 1986. She enjoyed golf and cards, especially bridge. Her husband, Raymond E. Vogelberger, whom she married on Sept. 7, 1946, died in May of 1979. She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Lynne Motichko of Youngstown and Sue (Ronald) Commisso of Edinburg, Pa.; a brother, Richard Bretz of Canton; and three grandchildren, Tim (Cyndi) Motichko of Champion, Meredith (Patrick) Gorman of Columbiana, Christina Commisso of Edinburg. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Bretz. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. The family would like to thank the staff of Hampton Woods for the loving care that the showed to Mary. In lieu of flowers the family requested that monetary donations be made in Mary's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
