Minnie L. Bagley Stanley Curtner, 84 'Matriarch of One Hundred Two descendants' AUSTINTOWN-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 9th at the Struthers Church of Christ for Minnie L. Curtner, 84, who departed her earthly home Wednesday December 6, 2006 with her family at her side. She was born May 12, 1922 in Gilmer County, Georgia, daughter of Charles V. and Alice E. Dugger Bagley, she came to Struthers in September of 1956. Minnie was a member of the Struthers Church of Christ. Her first husband, John B. Stanley, whom she married August 22, 1936, died November 11, 1964. Her second husband, Richard L. Curtner, whom she married June 10, 1967, died August 1, 1990. Minnie is survived by five sons; James C. (Loretta) Stanley of Effort, PA, Jimmy R. (Margaret) Stanley of Phoenix, AZ, Jerry L. (Maria) Stanley of Youngstown, Terry B. Stanley and Larry C. Stanley, both of Austintown, and a loving daughter-in-law, Hazel R. Stanley of Youngstown; and six daughters; Nellie M. (Robert) Meadows of Boardman, Bonnie S. (Bruce) Amrich of Youngstown, Mamie R. (William) Anderson of Boardman, Kathy L. (David) Perry of Canfield, Carol L. (John) Patek of Austintown and Shirley C. (Christopher) Plevniak of Liberty; five Brothers; Clifford, Grady, Charles, Harlan and William Bagley and a sister, Katie Stanley, all of Georgia; thirty grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert (R.L.) Stanley, an infant daughter, two sisters; Sallie Chance and Beatrice Peeler, a granddaughter Cathi L. Meadows and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the church to support the food pantry. With a heart of gold, Minnie never wanted to see anyone go hungry.
