Chardon, Ohio formerly of Youngstown- Muriel ( Mert) Grybos, 85, passed away on Saturday January 15, in Geauga Community Hospital. She was born Muriel Gale Adams on May 18, 1925 to parents Thomas and Laura Belle (Waller) Adams in Sharon, PA. She married Leonard Grybos on November 6, 1948 and resided in Youngstown, where she worked at GE Lighting and for the local Board of Elections. She was a member of St. Christine's Church and enjoyed bowling with her friends. She is survived by her husband Leonard 91, now residing in Middlefield. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Richard T. Grybos ( Christine) , of Chardon, OH and Larry F. Grybos ( Lauren) of Colfax, CA. Siblings include Marian Ocarz, Karl Adams, and Ruth Long all of Boardman, Oh. A sister, Kathleen Skotynsky is deceased. Grandchildren include Andrew and Sarah Grybos of Chardon, and Matthew and Rachel Grybos of Colfax, CA. Funeral services will be 5 P.M Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman. Friends may call from 3 to 5 Tuesday at the funeral home. Material tributes can be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312 She will be remembered by family and friends for her sense of humor, and love for her family.
