Nancy Jane Albaugh,86 BOARDMAN, OHIO - Nancy J. Albaugh, quietly passed away on Saturday Sept. 26, 2015 at age 86 under loving care of the nursing staff of the Shepherd of the Valley nursing home. Born on July 28, 1929 in Youngstown, Ohio to the Marguerite Cypher Ramm and William J. Ramm Sr. She attended first through eighth grade at St. Dominic's in Youngstown. She attended and graduated from South High School in the class of 1947. After graduation she worked at General Fireproofing as a switchboard operator. She married her husband Edward J. Albaugh of 64 years on Sept. 15, 1951 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Together they reared 7 children, in Chicago, Ill., Chillicothe, Toledo, Delaware, and Youngstown, Ohio. Nancy Albaugh was a master sewer who won numerous 1st place ribbons and several "Best of Show" ribbons at the Canfield Fair over a decade. She was a stylish and classy lady most often wearing clothes of her craftsmanship. She was a peaceful and loving wife, mother, grand-mother, great-grand mother, and mother-in-law. She delighted in seeing and being with her 7 children, 14 grand-children, and 9 great grand-children. She had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit about her. She made sure that the photo history of her family was carefully archived for future enjoyment for children, grand-children and great grand-children. Nancy Albaugh is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Edward J. Albaugh, children and their spouses: Kurt Albaugh and wife Celia Rodriguez Albaugh, Karl Albaugh and wife Roseann Albaugh, Konrad Albaugh and wife Amie Rodriguez Albaugh, Virginia Walters (Albaugh) and husband Dr. Mark Walters, Kenrick Albaugh and wife Annette Albaugh, Lori Albaugh, Kris Albaugh and wife Jill Albaugh. Nancy Albaugh is also survived by her grand-children: Mandy Albaugh, Lexi Snyder, Daniel Albaugh, Ryan Albaugh, Dustin Albaugh, Connie Albaugh, Kevin Albaugh, Andrea Albaugh, Hanna Albaugh, Samantha Walters, Max Walters, Zoe Walters, Kyle Albaugh, and Brooke Albaugh. Calling hours will be held at the Fox Funeral Home on Market Street in Boardman Ohio from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Youngstown. The burial will take place thereafter at Cavalry Cemetery on Mahoning Ave. in Youngstown.
