Nancy Ann Laffey, 75. Prayers will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, for Nancy Ann Laffey, 75 of Boardman who passed away Monday evening surrounded by her family at home. Nancy was born Sept 1, 1937 in Youngstown, a daughter of George and Marie Slife Metzinger. She was a 1955 graduate of Ursuline High School, and a 1958 graduate of the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. Nancy worked for Dr. T.T. Deramo, retiring in 2011. She was a member of St. Dominic and St. Patrick Churches, the Club Girls from high school, St. Elizabeth Nurses Association and the Steamfitters and Pipe Fitters Local 87 Auxillary. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Michael E. Laffey, whom she married May 23, 1959; four sons Michael E. (Sharon) Laffey III of Sulphur Springs, Indiana, Larry T. Laffey of Columbiana, Patrick J. (Karen) Laffey of Boardman and Dan (Susie) Laffey of Galena, Ohio, two daughters Colleen M. (Larry) Welton of Leetonia and Katie A. (Kevin) Dixon of Delaware, Ohio, nine grandchildren Jarrett Welton, Cody Dixon, Michael Laffey IV, Danielle Welton, Jacob Dixon, Emily Laffey, Alex Laffey, Cameron Laffey and Luke Laffey. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
