Nick J. Liberato, 92 BOARDMAN - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church celebrated by Fr. Philip Rogers for Nick J. Liberato, 92, who passed away Friday evening at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown. Nick was born January 1, 1919, in Lowellville, a son of Biago and Vincenza DeLuisa Liberato and has been a lifetime area resident. He was a graduate of Lowellville High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. Nick was a member of St. Charles Church. He was a brick layer at Sharon Steel and a brick layer supervisor at B & B Construction. Nick also owned and operated his own construction company with his brother-in-law Joe Tisone. He was a member of the Brick Layers Union #8, president of the Colony Dance Club and past member at Tippecanoe Country Club. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Helen Adams, whom he married October 4, 1941 just short of celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. He also leaves his son William Liberato of Marietta, GA; his daughter-in-law Lorraine Liberato and sister Theresa Leporis both of Poland, OH and a sister, Madelyn Murray of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Angelo Liberato, Julia Marzio and Louise Morell. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church one hour prior to the funeral service.
