Norman was born Feb 27, 1947 in Oak Hill, West Virginia a son of Earl & Virginia Thorne Thomas.. He was a mechanic for Emch Spring. He will be deeply missed by his wife the former Patricia A. Speicher, whom he married May 5, 1973, three daughters Mariann M., Norma J. & Christina Thomas all of Youngstown a son Norman (April ) Thomas, Jr. of Struthers;six brothers Douglas, David, Danny & Darryl Thomas of Oak Hill, W.Va., Luther Thomas of Youngstown and Homer Thomas of Chicago, Ill., three sisters Drema Ward of Oak Hill, W. Va., Delores Grosjean of Akron and Shirley Head of Youngstown, fifteen grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
