New Middletown -Olga E. Chizmar,94 There will be prayers at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Dominic Church for Olga E. Chizmar who passed away the morning of January 15 at her residence. Olga was born November 29, 1919 in Youngstown, the daughter of August and Irma (Czepper) Habodasz, and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated at South HS, Class of 1938 and worked at McKelvy's Department Store. Olga was a homemaker and a long-time parishioner in St. Dominic Church. She married Lawrence E. Chizmar June 26, 1941, who died in 2010 after 68 years of marriage. She leaves four sons: Lawrence, Jr. (Adria) of Concord, CA, Anthony (Joan) of Newport Richey, FL, Matthew (Rena) of Pinole, CA and David (Kathy) of Greenford, OH; two daughters, Christine (Garry) Allison of East Palestine, and Catherine ( George) Fercana of Florence, SC; 16 grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, Olga was preceded in death by her siblings Wilma (Vlad) Miskoe, Magdalene (Frank) Horvath, Elmer (Jo) Habodasz and great-granddaughter Giovanna Polito. She lived a long and well-lived life, beloved by all of her family and will be greatly missed. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
