PATRICIA A. THORNTON- 82 A Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers for Patricia A. Thornton , 82 who passed away Thursday morning at Vibra Hospital in Boardman. Patricia was born January 20, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of William B. and Mary A. Devaney Thornton and has been a life-long area resident. She went to Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from East High School. She worked as an office manager at Fitzsimmons Steel and later at Habuda Concrete and R & R Trucking. Patricia was a long time parishioner of St. Charles parish. She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers William E. Thornton of Canfield, Michael F. (Susan) Thornton of Boardman; a sister, Kathleen (Andy) Scarmack of Canfield; seventeen nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela McDonald; two brothers James P. and Jack Thornton; two sisters Margaret A. Thornton and Carolyn Cappibianca; a sister-in-law Jane Thornton and a brother-in-law Jack Cappibianca. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home.
