Patrick John Nagy passed away on Monday July 20, 2026, at the Hospice House with his loving family by his side.

He was born on December 23, 1947, in Youngstown, the son of the late Alex and Julia Frances Wirt Nagy and was a lifelong area resident.

Patrick graduated in 1965 from Boardman High School

After graduation, he enlisted in the United Sates Airforce and was honorably discharged in April of 1970.

Patrick worked for General Motors Lordstown plant as a fort lift operator until his retirement after 35 years of service. After retiring from General Motors, Patrick worked as a lot attendant for the Sweeney and Cochran dealerships. He was a member of St. Dominic Church and enjoyed fishing, yard work, working on cars and most especially spending time with his family.

Patrick leaves to cherish his life, his wife the former Birgit H. Bartholoma, children; Josh (Skip Mack ) Nagy, Clinton P. Nagy, Jennifer Nagy ( Eddie Barnhart) and Nicole (Dennis) Vlasaty,

twin brother Mike (Nancy ) , Nagy and grandchildren, Kayla (Alex), Angle, Patrick Dorazio, Jon P. Zimbardi and Jenna Nagy and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Patrick was preceded in death by brothers Ronald Nagy and William Nagy, sister Cecilia Gardner.

A private Mass of Christian Buril was held on Wednesday July 29, at St. Dominic Church, celebrated by Rev. Charles Rooney, O.P.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
