Boardman, Paul Michael Carson Sr., 76 Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, for Paul Michael Carson Sr., 76 of Boardman, who passed away Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. He was born June 16, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Thomas D. and Mary Deesing Carson and has been an Ohio resident for over 40 years. Paul was veteran in the United States Army serving as a medic during the Vietnam War. He was a craftsman, a woodworker and was employed as a cook. He was a collector of eagles and volunteered at Veteran organizations. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and his dog Harmony. He will be greatly missed by his children, Maryalyce Knight of Rock Spring, WY, Brenda Lee Linares of Green River, WY, Paul M. (Bonnie) Carson Jr. of St. Martinville, LA, Patricia Morales of Terre Haute, IN, Ramona (Steve) Keetsu of Port Hueneme, CA, Thomas Carson of Boardman, Shawn (Chelsie) Carson of Struthers; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother Henry Woods of Tamaqua, PA; a sister Shirley Alexander of Portland, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 21 years, Debra Carson; a daughter, Sherry Carson and a sister, Margarite Taylor.
