Paul Thomas Domer, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Park Vista Assisted Living Center.
Tom was born on June 26, 1935, the son of the late Paul E. and Anne P. (Maley) Domer and was the second eldest of eight children. He graduated from Ursuline Catholic High School in 1953. Following graduation, Tom held several positions in the steel industry in Youngstown and Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to Washington, D.C., in the early 1960s. He made Washington his home for the next 58 years.
Tom worked for the American Trucking Association (ATA) for over 50 years, serving as the Vice President/Director of Conventions and Special Events. Tom was a seasoned and avid traveler who traveled extensively throughout his life visiting many countries exploring the world on his adventure. Tom had a deep passion for the theater, whether it was a film or a live Broadway production. He loved all genres of music and was a longtime season ticket holder at the Kennedy Center.
He leaves to cherish his memories are his siblings: Shirley (Vincent) Carney, Raymond T. Domer, Vincent J. (Judy) Domer, John R. Domer, and Gerald M. (Linda) Domer and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his partner, Frank Calzado; his infant sister, Mary Louise; his brother, James F.; his second mother, Margaret T. Veck; his beloved nieces, Tina Elizabeth Domer and Kimberly Ann Carney; and his sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (Tillery) Domer, Linda (DeLuco) Domer, and Roberta (Gemma) Domer.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Youngstown, Ohio on Friday, March 13, 2026, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, Ohio.
