Philomena J. Antronica Smith, 86 YOUNGSTOWN - Prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m., Wednesday, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated the Rev. Bernard R. Bonot at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Savior (St. Nicholas) Church Struthers, for Philomena J. Antronica Smith, 86, who passed away peacefully Friday morning. Philomena was born July 12, 1928, in Youngstown, a daughter of Salvatore and Anna Zizzo Antronica. She was a graduate of South High School and Lewis, Weinberger & Hill Beauty Academy. Philomena was a self employed beautician and a ward clerk at St. Elizabeth Health Center for 20 years. Philomena was a member of Christ Our Savior Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph P. Smith, whom she married June 16, 1948; a son, Lawrence E. (fiancAC.e Tina Hudson) Smith of Coral Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Patricia A. (Joe) Anda of Poland; a brother, Sam (Pauline) Antronica; a sister-in-law, Lois Antronica; four grandchildren, Lisa (John Watson) of Holly Springs, N.C., Lawrence J. Smith of Mogadore, and Jarod and Kyle Anda, both of Poland; and one great-grandson, Luke Watson. Philomena was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dr. Joseph P. Smith Jr.; two brothers, Louis and Dominic Antronica; and two sisters, Carmel Leone and Anita Tetto. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
