YOUNGSTOWN-Rita Cecilia Moran-93 A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rita Cecilia Moran will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman celebrated by Fr. Edward Noga. Rita died of natural causes Wednesday afternoon at the Inn at Christine Valley where she has been a resident for the past two years. Rita was born on January 11, 1920 in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Bridget Malloy Mullaney and has been a life-long area resident. She graduated from The Rayen High School. Rita was a homemaker and a long time parishioner of St. Patrick's Parish. Her husband Frederick Thomas Moran whom she married January 22, 1943 died on December 30, 1978. She is survived by her three sons, Fred (Nancy) Moran of Battle Creek, MI, Edward (Lydia) Moran of Boardman, Michael Moran of Youngstown; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, Rita was preceded in death by her siblings. Friends may gather from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fox Funeral Home prior to the service.
