Boardman, Rita Marie Russo, 84 Rita Marie Russo passed away on August 17, 2009 with her family at her side from an undiagnosed Illness. Rita was born November 19, 1924 in Girard, Ohio, a daughter of Pat and Viola Knott Modarelli. She married the love of her life Frank Russo on February 17, 1953, at Saint Patrick Church on Oak Hill Ave. in Youngstown, she has been a member of the church for 84 years. Frank Passed on September 12, 1994 and will never be forgotten. Rita was a homemaker and the best mother and Nana a family could ever pray for. She gave us enough love to last two lifetimes. She dedicated her life to her family. Grieving her loss are her children Frank (Cindi) Russo, Lolly (George) Kordic, Manny Russo, friend and sister-in-law Connie Russo; and the joys of her life; Vince, Geno, Frankie and Athena her grandchildren. They were blessed to have her as their Nana. She was preceded in death by her son Anthony Russo. Rest in Peace Mom, you will forever live in our hearts. Upon Rita's request there will be a private service for her family only.
