Robert D. Lynch, 73 BOARDMAN - There will be prayers at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Charles Church for Robert D. Lynch, 73, who passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House in Poland. Robert was born June 17, 1938, in Youngstown, the son of John A. and Alice Mahoney Lynch. He was a 1956 graduate of East High School and retired in 2003 from Hynes Steel as a traffic manager after 44 years. Robert and his wife belonged to Saint Peter and Paul Church. He was also an avid golfer. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Margaret A. Hodnik, whom he married July 27, 1974; a brother, Edward F. Lynch of Austintown; a sister, Mary Catherine (Kay); brother-in-law William Bean of Boardman; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean T. Lynch and a sister-in-law Patty J. Lynch. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Fox Funeral Home.
