Boardman, Robert W. "Butch" Pugh, 81. Services will be at 11 A.M. Friday at Fox Funeral Home for Robert W. "Butch" Pugh, who passed away peacefully Tuesday morning. Robert was born April 25, 1935 in Youngstown, a son of William and Mildred Weichenmoser Pugh and Lawrence Nordquist.. He was a life long resident of Boardman and was a 1953 graduate of Boardman High School and was on the reunion committee. Butch retired after 32 years from Lyden Hauling Company, after working for the Boardman Fire Dept and Perry's Service Station. He was a member and a senior server at St. Charles Church. Robert was a founding member of Board 60 and was a avid Cleveland Sports and Notre Dame , Johnny Cash and Dale Earnhardt fan. He enjoyed wood working, carpentry, swimming, landscaping and working on cars. Robert was a Army veteran and was awarded the rank of corporal. His wife the former Virginia "Gini" Winkle, whom he married May 16, 1959, passed away March 5, 2013.. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Kellie Armstrong of Knoxville, Tenn., Christine (David) Ohle of Boardman, Robert B. (Jennifer) Pugh of Austintown and Brad L. (Mary) Pugh of Boardman, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides his wife, Robert is preceded in death by a sister Marilyn Stanton and a brother Dale Norquist.
