Roberta " Bobbie" Lenhart,74 YOUNGSTOWN.-There will be prayers at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home and a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Edward Church celebrated by Msgr. Robert Siffrin for Roberta "Bobbie" Lenhart who passed away Saturday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center . Roberta (Bobbie) Rubenstahl Lenhart was born September 11, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the daughter of George L. Rubenstahl and Eleanor A (McGee) Rubenstahl. She attended St. Dominic Elementary School and Ursuline High School graduating in 1954. She then attended St. Elizabeth Nursing School, graduating in 1957. She married Milton J. Lenhart, M.D. on November 28, 1959. Bobbie leaves behind her husband of 51 years Milton J. Lenhart M.D., her children Milton G. (Nancy) Lenhart of Youngstown, Denise (Thomas) Salopek of Richmond Heights Ohio, Lisa (Gary Mansfield) Lenhart of Montgomery Village, Maryland, and Lori (Vince) Piscitello of West Linn, Oregon. She also leaves 12 grandchildren (Alexander, Philip, Nicholas, Vincenzo, Julian, Bianca, Luca, Angelica, Calder, Augustin, Selena, and Mia). She also leaves her sisters Joann (Alfred) Raghanti of Austintown, Judith (Raymond) Ortsey of Bethel Park, PA, Eleanor (Roger) Anderson of Elyria, Ohio, and her brother George (Beverly) Rubenstahl of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bobbie was always proud of her generous husband, her four beautiful children, and her twelve grandchildren; she had such a love of children and pride in her family, that her eyes sparkled whenever anyone asked her about her children or grandchildren. After graduating with her nursing degree, Bobbie worked for St. Elizabeth's Pediatric Unit, where she was able to develop a career within a field working with those she was most drawn to and loved, young children. After her marriage, she was active in assisting her husband at his office and at her children's schools, providing invaluable support in both places; in addition, she was past President of Mended Hearts and was active in Seton, St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing Alumni as well as many religious, civic, and social organizations. She was a member of St. Edwards parish for over 50 years, and served as president of the PTA with her support and leadership being well-known among all parishioners. She loved attending the symphony and theater, and shared this pleasure with her husband and friends. Bobbie had a love of gardens and gardening, which she shared with her life-long friends, the Ya Ya Sisters; she also spent many hours with this group of friends playing cards and traveling, as well as sharing laughs. She believed the best of everybody, even when they doubted themselves. Bobbie had a warm and generous heart, with a positive outlook and a ready smile on her face, consistently reflecting her love of life and of all those in her life she loved. In honor of Bobbie, please hug someone today to let them know you love them.
