Ronald J. DeSantis, 75 JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Services will be today at 11 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, celebrated by Pastor Russ Adams, for Ronald J. DeSantis, 75, of Jacksonville, who passed away Saturday evening. Ronald was born March 16, 1935, in Cleveland. He was an Army Paratrooper. He worked for Valley Mold and Iron. Besides his wife, the former Rene Shindell, whom he married Oct. 25, 1957, he leaves his two daughters, Rene Thayer of Lowellville and Bernadette DeSantis Dickson of Jacksonville; two sons, Ronald J. DeSantis of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Edward DeSantis of Sanford, N.C. He also leaves his five grandchildren, Grace Thayer, Shannon Enyeart, Ed DeSantis, Michael DeSantis and Bess Ann DeSantis; and his three great-grandchildren. Ronald also has five sisters, Carol Reeveley, Delores Madaline, Sandra Cimmento, Paula Santisi and Carla Sauline. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Delores Ann DeSantis.
