Memorial services are Friday April 13, 2018  at 10 A.M.  at Bethel Evangelical Friends Church at 2771 Spitler Rd, Poland for   Ronald Lee Gengler, Sr. of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at his home with his family by his side.

Ronald was born June 5, 1939 in Youngstown a son of the late Lester B. and Helen T. Stein Gengler.

He was a 1957 graduate of Boardman High School  and worked as a lab technician for Commercial Intertech.  After leaving Commercial Intertech, he worked as a maintenance mechanic for Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority, retiring in 2002.

Ron loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed tinkering with old broken things and making them work again.  Ron proudly served in the Navy from 1957 to 1961.

He leaves to cherish, his wife the former Barbara Woodhall, whom he married December 19, 1959, daughters Pamela J.( Kevin ) Stine of Poland and Marie L. (Brett) Julian of Loxahatchee, Florida, son Ronald L. (Karey) Gengler, Jr of North Lima,  brother Richard Gengler of Canfield, grandchildren John, Steve, Rick, Jeff, Greg, Josh, Shanna, Josie, Amber, Katie and Brianna and a great grandchild Eliza.

There are no calling hours.   Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
