Youngstown - ROSE E. DAVIS, 85 Rose E. Davis passed away Sunday April 11, 2010 at Briarfield at Ashley Circle, in Austintown, A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Charles T. Poore, on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Rose was born August 12, 1924 in Youngstown, a daughter of Marko and Maria Silak Vukich ( Miller ). Rose was of catholic faith, she was a LPN in area Nursing homes until retiring . Her Husband of 40 years Joseph Awad passed away in 1996. Rose leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Robert ( Dory ) Miller of Maryland, two sisters Milli Jaronieski of Altoona Pennsylvania, and Marie Lee Harver of Girard Ohio, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, she also leaves her good friend and caregiver Richard White. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers Pete Vukich, Stanley and Paul Miller and her sisters Carolyn Mullen, Ann Miller and Lillian Lawson. Also preceding her in death was her beloved nephew William Lawson, who she loved to go play bingo with. Rose loved her dog of many years Cuddles. The family would love to thank the nursing home staff and Doctor Ned Underwood for taking such good care of Rose.
