Boardman, Rose R. Untch, 94. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Friday at New Life Lutheran Church in Liberty officiated by Pastor Bill Wessner for Rose R. Untch, 94 of Boardman who passed away Thursday January 27 . Rose was born April 20, 1916 in Youngstown a daughter of John & Anna Roman. She worked for over sixty years for Geordan Candy Co. Rose was a member of New Life Lutheran Church, the Saxon Club and loved to walk at the Southern Park Mall. Her husband Ernest R. Untch whom she married Oct 3, 1936 passed away April 8, 1998. She leaves to cherish her memory three nephews William Spitznagel of Columbus whom she helped raise, Kenneth Gabrik of Las Vegas, Nevada and Edward Untch, Jr. of Boardman. Five great nephews Mickey, Jay & Jimmy Markovich and William & Richard Spitznagel, three great nieces Sarah, Kade & Amy Untch, two great great nephews Richard & Matthew and one great great niece Katie and brother-in-law Edward Untch, Sr. of Boardman.. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by a sister Katherine Gabrik and a niece Jean Markovich. Friends may call from 3 to 7 Thursday and from 9 to 10:15 Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
