Roseann Beil, 81 YOUNGSTOWN—There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. Monday at Saint Edward's Church, celebrated by Msgr. Robert Siffrin for Roseann Beil, 81, who passed away Friday afternoon at her residence. Roseann was born July 24, 1934, in Youngstown, a daughter of Henry J. and Margaret T. O'Hara Lyden and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Ursuline High School with the Class of 1952 and attended St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing. She worked at Rebublic Steel and the Diocese of Youngstown but her favorite job was mother to her children and the best grandma to her darling grandchildren. Roseann was a lifelong parishioner of St. Edward's parish; belonged to the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, St. Edward's Parish Women on a Mission and St. Edward Liberty 55 Club. She enjoyed many trips over the years with the love of her life, Jim. Some of their favorite trips were: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Ireland, San Francisco and Italy. She will be greatly missed by her husband C. James Beil who she married on August 13, 1955 celebrating over 60 years of marriage. She also leaves to cherish her memory, Rosemarie (Leo) Jay, James Beil, Colleen Beil, Joseph (Nicki) Beil, Thomas (Andrea) Beil, Kevin (Colleen) Beil; 18 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and her sister Margaret Lyden of Youngstown. Besides her parents, Roseann was preceded in death by her son Charles Jerome Beil; a sister, Mary Kay Gorol; a brother Henry J. Lyden. Her family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the compassionate care given to Roseann and her loved ones. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ursuline High School" The Roseann Lyden Beil Scholarship" or Hospice of the Valley.
