Roseann McGinty, 73 POLAND - A Resurrection Mass will be officiated by the Rev. Edward Noga at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, for Roseann McGinty, 73, who passed away Sunday morning after a long battle with cancer. Roseann was born July 26, 1940, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Christine Cunningham Cahill, and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate from South High School, received a Master's degree in nursing and was the Head Nurse in the Maternity Department at Northside Hospital until retiring. She belonged to the Retired Nurses Association, a member of the Christian Women's Association and a long time parishioner of St. Patrick's Parish. Her husband, Dr. James McGinty whom she married Sept. 21, 1980, died in Feb. 6, 1993. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three cousins, Kathleen Johnson, Susan Atkin, and Tim O'Bien. Roseann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Jim Cahill. Friends may call from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the church one hour prior to her service.
