Rosemarie Aldrich Magulas, 86 POLAND - Rosemarie Aldrich Magulas, 86, of Hampton Woods in Poland, passed away Jan. 25, 2013, from respiratory complications. She was born May 10, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of George G. and Hazel Walsh Aldrich. Rosemarie, "Rosie," "Roses," "Ro-Ro," and "Gram" as her family and friends knew her, was a homemaker and at one time a registration assistant at Youngstown State University. She grew up in Wellington and graduated high school from Seton Hill Academy in Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church, Poland Women's Club, and Friends of the Poland Library. She enjoyed gardening, reading, playing bridge, and loved animals. Her husband, Andrew "Andy," whom she married June 26, 1947, died Aug. 22, 1987. She leaves two daughters, Andrea (William) Crowley of Anderson, S.C. and Lynn Nickell (Jim) of Dublin, Ohio; five grandchildren, Christy (Jim) Pepperney of Poland, Carrie (David) Bentley of Easley, S.C., Emily (Zach) Probst of San Antonio, Kate (Chris) McGarity of Powder Springs, Ga., and Lee Aldrich, of Cary, N.C.; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Jean (Donald) Inglis of Poland and Naples, Fla.; cousin J. R. (Donna) Davis of Boardman; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald "Gerry" Aldrich of Elyria; and sisters-in-law Mary Bryant Aldrich of Elyria and Irene Bucheit Marble of Carmel, Calif. There are no calling hours. The family will hold a celebration of her life memorial at a later date. The Fox Funeral Home in Boardman is handling funeral arrangements.
